Compact Equipment Outside Sales

We are looking to hire a motivated and results-driven

Outside Sales Representative

to cover compact construction equipment sales. This role requires a candidate who can demonstrate equipment, prospect new business opportunities within the assigned territory, and follow up with leads in a timely and professional manner.


The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage assigned territory through in-person visits and outbound calls to current and potential customers Drive revenue growth through equipment rentals and sales Develop and execute business strategies to meet or exceed sales quotas Promote the value and capabilities of our Parts and Service departments Complete all related sales and rental paperwork, contracts, and documentation accurately Maintain detailed records of daily customer interactions and set short- and long-term goals Represent the company and product lines professionally at all times.

Requirements

5+ years of sales experience, preferably in construction equipment or a related industry Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred (not required) Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively Proficient in territory and project management Strong knowledge of the local market, competition, and pricing strategies Comfortable working evenings or weekends if needed Willingness to travel and stay overnight during the workweek as needed

Physical Requirements

Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
