We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced

Comp Shingle Roofing Installer

to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1+ years of hands-on experience in asphalt shingle roofing, metal, and/or other types of roofing, be a hardworking individual, a team player, and be motivated to excel in their craft. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team, contribute to challenging projects, and grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

Install and repair comp, metal, and other types of roofing systems, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with the roofing team to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines. Measure and cut metal flashings, panels, and comp shingles to fit specific roofing structures accurately. Inspect and troubleshoot roofing issues, providing effective solutions. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Uphold the company's commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in roofing. Experience working in metal roofing is preferred. Strong knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with diverse personalities. Motivated, hardworking, and committed to delivering high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Physical ability to perform the demands of the job, including lifting up to 100 lbs, climbing, ladder work, machinery work, and working at heights.

Salary and Benefits:

Full-Time Exempt Salary at $25 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience. Piece rate work for comp roof installations Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance is available to purchase by all employees Simple IRA is available for all employees after 90 days, with Scotts Roofing matching up to 3% of employees yearly pay Paid Time Off: accrues at 40 hours per year after 90 days and after the first year 40 hours per employee is given on the first day of the year. 80 hours per employee after 2 years at the company Paid Holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Veterans Day for those that have served our country Unpaid Company Holidays: Friday before Memorial Day, Friday before Labor Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve Company Truck provided and gas card if employee has clean driving record and is shown to be able to responsibly take care of company property Employee Assistance Program: we offer all employees an EAP that includes discounts on hotels, travel, car insurance, etc. It also offers every employee free access to legal advice from an attorney, mental health consultation, dedicated personal assistant, wellness programs, pharmacy discount cards, mindfulness training, and much more!
