Job Description

This position is for someone willing to provide support and companionship to semi-independent, fun-loving young woman in her home and community!

Provide assistance to 35 year old female with Down Syndrome living in her own apartment in Webster with daily living and community activities. F.I. is EpiNY.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Work one-on-one with her in the home and/or in the community, specifically:

- Help encourage independence by working on goals she has identified for herself, which could include meal prep, shopping, budgeting, social skills, community activities.

- Provide transportation in personal vehicle to and from person's home to community events and activities. Mileage and related expense reimbursement provided.

- Complete appropriate documentation for the specific goals worked on.

Looking for

4-12 hours per week

, possibility of more if desired. Hours very flexible - needed

weekday evenings after 4pm

weekends if available

Experience working with persons with Down Syndrome and/or developmental disability preferable.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
