Key Responsibilities:



Provide community-based mental health services that empower clients and support their growth, wellbeing, and independence. Collaborate with clients, families, and stakeholders to create individualized treatment plans rooted in strengths-based approaches. Deliver evidence-based interventions, including motivational interviewing, CBT- and DBT-informed strategies, trauma-informed practices, and positive behavioral techniques. Coordinate care with physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations to ensure seamless, comprehensive support. Maintain accurate and timely documentation aligned with organizational policies and professional standards. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge of mental health services and therapeutic approaches. Support organizational quality improvement through data collection, analysis, and participation in improvement initiatives. Work collaboratively with case managers, therapists, and support staff to ensure integrated care for clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, teachers, counselors, and other professionals involved in client care. Facilitate PSR group sessions as aligned with treatment plan goals. For ACT/ACT TAY/IMPART programs: Apply knowledge of ACT principles, team processes, and service delivery methods.

Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Family Studies, Counseling, Recreational Therapy, Human Services, Human Development, Child Development, Gerontology, Behavioral Science, Rehabilitation Counseling

Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree from an approved institution

Work experience in a related human services field may substitute for educational requirements. Related fields may include direct support such as case management, residential support, developmentally disabled support, vocational rehabilitation, and more. Four years of qualifying experience minimum or a combination of education and experience equaling four years required.

Qualified Addictions Professional (QAP) - CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, RADC-P, RADC, CCDP, CCDP-D

Additional Qualifications:



Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age to operate a company-owned vehicle; must be at least twenty-three (23) years of age to operate a company-owned fifteen-passenger van. Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance. Must have reliable transportation to transport clients in a personal vehicle. Successful completion of background checks including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect check, and fingerprinting. Must attain required trainings to support professional development and DMH standards. Adequate written skills and ability to communicate effectively. Ability to follow direction, accept supervision, and maintain effective communication with staff and community resources. Ability to establish effective relationships with youth and families. Knowledge of case management principles, mental health and substance use disorders, and community resources.

Physical Requirements:



ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. Requires repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing or writing. Sedentary work involves mostly sitting, with occasional walking or standing for brief periods.
