How You'll Make an Impact
Provide oversight of program capacity, admissions, waiting lists, and scheduling to ensure services meet utilization, occupancy, and staffing ratio targets.
Plan and oversee the Autism Day Program and Childcare programs, including preparation, training, funding, and communication with families and staff.
Organize and lead group and individual activities designed to promote social, emotional, and intellectual development.
Participate in recruiting, hiring, and training activities; provide staff coaching on interventions, behavior management, and positive behavior support techniques.
Manage program funding, billing accuracy, and grant opportunities; monitor utilization of authorized services to achieve budgeted outcomes.
Maintain knowledge of ChildServe and community resources, demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills, and provide direct care support as needed.
What You'll Need
Required: Bachelor's Degree
Required: Minimum of one year supervisory experience
Preferred: One year experience working with children in a childcare setting, or children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder
Demonstrate proficient organizational and time management skills with developed problem-solving skills and decision-making, and ability to prioritize multiple demands.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others, both verbally and in writing, and foster effective relationships with co-workers, children, and families.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office, and ability to proficiently learn new software programs.
Must be able to pass a ChildServephysical examination prior to employment and thereafter as regulations require.
Ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing and speaking the English language
