Community Programs Coordinator



(Reports to Executive Director)

Schedule

: Mondays and Wednesdays in person office days, Tuesdays and Fridays remote up to 25 hours a week. 2-3 evenings or weekend days a month required for committee meetings and events.

Pay

: $24-$26/hour

Job Duties



Implementation and Coordination of Programs



Referral Service - Daily



Answer public requests, evaluate and onboard new referral service applicants, and maintain all records Help expand the program by recruiting new members, promoting membership benefits, focusing on member retention, and implementing new ideas

PlantAmnesty Membership - Daily



Oversee membership registrations and renewals and maintain all records Help increase membership numbers by promoting benefits, reaching out to new communities, and understanding membership retention

Committee Leadership and Support - Monthly, Bi-Weekly



Coordinate with committee members to plan, prepare materials, and implement events and activities Attend committee meetings, provide day-of support, and generally assist with activities as needed.

Member Newsletter - Quarterly



Collaborate with staff and volunteers to collect ideas, write articles, edit and publish

Website Management



Manage WordPress website and update regularly with new events and content

Other Support Duties



Work closely with the Education Programs Coordinator and Executive Director to support and maintain smooth operations of all organizational functions Provide regular reports and data on Community Programs for the Board of Directors Support Bookkeeper in maintaining financial records including donations and managing the donor database Answer and field all incoming phone and email inquiries and act as point of contact for service providers Purchase office supplies and check mail weekly Other tasks as requested by the Executive Director and Board of Directors

Job Requirements



Access to reliable transportation for events At least 1 year experience working on small teams Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software programs Comfort, confidence, and compassion communicating with members, volunteers, coworkers, and the general public

Bonus Points



Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access Experience in website maintenance Previous work experience in nonprofit organizations
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
