Compensation: $27 - $38 per hour, based on relevant experience and certifications
This position is open to remote work. Candidates must be located within the state of Missouri.

JOB SUMMARY: The Community Planner position will provide environmental planning expertise to assist and lead in brownfield and contaminated site redevelopment activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions:Participate and/or lead planning activities related to redevelopment initiatives Collaborate with staff, agencies, clients, and other project collaborators to facilitate project submittals and schedules Oversee multiple brownfield planning projects simultaneously for public and private sector clients Work on sites with complex technical and regulatory issues Assist with environmental site assessments Lead community planning initiatives and public outreach and engagement Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright's and Eocene Environmental Group's culture of safety and employee ownership Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS:B.S. degree (M.S. preferred) in environmental planning and/or a closely related discipline Minimum of 2 years' experience with community planning projects Familiarity with ESRI GIS applications (including desktop, ArcGIS, Collector, Survey123, etc.) Ability to perform work duties independently and efficiently with short deadlines Highly organized, motivated, thorough, accurate, dependable, and trustworthy Ability to interact and coordinate with state, federal, local, and tribal agencies Excellent note-taking ability Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:AICP Certified Preferred 5 years' experience with community planning projects Experience working with or for federal, state, or local agencies is a plus Strong writing and editing skills Familiarity with typical utility operations and maintenance activities Excellent navigation skills and good driving record
