What You Will Do:

Support our planning and economic development team with general planning services to our municipal clients Be a Client Liaison with client communities Specific work tasks include: + Data analysis and collection
+ Review of land use applications
+ Preparation of staff reports
+ Plan and ordinance writing
+ Code/zoning enforcement
+ Community engagement
+ Draft Comprehensive Plans
+ Other duties related to planning and economic development

What You Will Bring:

Four-year degree in urban planning or a related field Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a similar field desired 3-4 years' experience required Valid driver's license and clean driving record Desire to work to grow the Community Planning business Strong presentation and writing skills Proven abilities in leadership, facilitating commission/council meetings, relationship-building, a positive attitude, and a passion for your work are also required. Ability to travel up to 10% within the Twin City Metro Ability to work in the posted location
