Position Overview



The Community & Events Coordinator supports the Department of Marketing and Sales by managing private and public events, strengthening Rek'-lis' community partnerships, and ensuring our brand values of community, craft, and adventure are reflected in every guest experience.

This position bridges communication between the Marketing Director, Ownership, General Manager, and Head Chef to ensure that all events and public initiatives are executed with precision, creativity, and consistency.

The role is full-time at 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support event operations.

? Base Salary Range: $58,000 - $66,000 annually (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities



Private Events

? Work in a collaborative manner to manage private event inquiries, bookings, and communications with clients and staff from start to finish.

? Coordinate event details through the booking processes with Owner, GM, Head Chef, and Brewery Manager, to ensure seamless execution.

? Develop BEO (Banquet Event Order) and communicate clear setup, staffing, and timeline details to all departments.

? Maintain the private event calendar and keep internal teams informed of bookings and logistics.

? Be onsite to coordinate large private events on the day of and or coordinate a person from the management team to be the day off coordinator. (Events coordinator will be required to be on site for a minimum number of events and types of events)

? Manage billing and follow-up communication with event clients post-event.

Public Events

? Work with the Director of Marketing & Sales with planning and executing rek'-lis public events, including beer releases, fundraisers, concerts, and seasonal festivals.

? Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop new public programming and marketing initiatives.

? Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to develop new creative art direction for marketing initiatives.

? Maintain organized timelines, checklists, and promotional materials for each event.

? Communicate and book entertainment.

? Work with the Director of Marketing and the team to organize or represent rek'-lis at community festivals and off-site collaborations.

? Gather photos, stories, and feedback from events for marketing and future planning.

Public Communications

? Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to manage social media and CRM programs.

? Ensure event listings, press releases, and digital communications are accurate and on-brand.

? Maintain consistent communication with partners, vendors, and community organizations.

? Update internal and public-facing calendars, social listings, and web event pages.

? Collect CRM data and guest feedback to assist in marketing and retention efforts.

Miscellaneous / Department Support

? Attend weekly DOMS meetings and participate in department planning sessions.

? Contribute creative ideas for events, partnerships, and brand storytelling.

? Assist with photography, setup, and promotional activations as needed.

? Maintain organized event documentation and post-event reports.

Required Skills & Attributes



? 2-5 years of event coordination, marketing, or hospitality experience.

? Experience managing client communications and internal communications. Experience coordinating events or projects from inception through completion.

? Experience with marketing tools (Google Workspace, Squarespace, social scheduling software, meta suite, adobe suite ect) preferred.

? Background or passion for creative work.

? Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

? Ability to self manage and work independently

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

? Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

? Comfortable collaborating across multiple departments and personality types.

? Passion for craft beer, hospitality, and community connection.

? Background in photography or video work is a bonus.

Physical Requirements



? Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and move necessary fixtures to set up and tear down event spaces.

? Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays or when ever an event is booked.

? Ability to stand for extended periods during event execution.
