We're looking for a
Community Engagement & Brand Specialist
who's passionate about people, creativity, and community. This role is perfect for someone who loves variety, one day you're creating a marketing campaign, the next you're presenting at a school or representing Hurricane Creek at a local event.
What You'll Do
As our Community Engagement & Brand Specialist, you'll help tell the Hurricane Creek story through marketing, media, and meaningful relationships. You'll create engaging content, design digital and print materials, manage social media, and help bring our brand to life across Saline County.
Your Day-to-Day Might Include:
Designing marketing materials and graphics in Canva or Adobe tools for social media, print, and digital platforms
Writing and scheduling posts that reflect our brand voice and connect with our community
Assisting in writing scripts, filming short videos, and managing content for Facebook, Instagram, and other channels
Representing Hurricane Creek FCU at chamber events, nonprofit functions, and school activities
Coordinating community sponsorships and outreach events
Delivering financial literacy presentations and leading our Dollars & Decisions
Reality Fairs
Helping plan and execute signature events like
GHOST!Town

Christmas at the Creek
, and
Member Appreciation Day
Supporting internal staff initiatives that strengthen teamwork and member relationships
Who You Are
You're an outgoing, creative communicator who thrives on connection and storytelling. You're as comfortable in-front of a camera as you are behind a microphone, and you love seeing your work make a real impact.
You Bring:
Associate or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience*) 2+ years of experience in marketing, community engagement, or social media management required
Strong writing, design, and communication skills
Experience using
Canva
and/or
Adobe Creative Suite
(or similar programs)
Confidence in public speaking and presenting to large or small groups
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
A genuine passion for community involvement and helping others
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM
Occasional evenings and weekends for community events
