Job Description

SUMMARY



The Fitzpatrick Collaborative is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and manage Pepperell's historic Fitzpatrick building for community use, offer community programs and special events, provide short-term space rentals to community members, and lease space to long-term tenants who align with our mission.

This role works under the broad supervision of the Board of Directors, who outline program objectives, assign areas of responsibility, and evaluate performance. The Administrator is responsible for the overall supervision of tenants, custodial staff, and office operations. You will establish and maintain office policy and lead our day-to-day administrative operations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES



Coordinate facility use, schedule availability of facilities for public access, and process reservation requests. Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and have required setup and materials for activities. Respond to inquiries received through email, telephone, and social media. Research grant opportunities and facilitate grant applications. Drive effective community relations. Market, promote and publicize center activities in collaboration with staff. Oversee establishment and maintenance of all department documents, flyers, manuals, computer files, participant contact information, email marketing database, social media, websites and the department's digital presence. Coordinate public relations information including press releases to promote programs and services. Ensure facility maintenance is scheduled and completed in conjunction with the Director of Facilities, Custodial staff, and contractors. Assess and recommend major repairs and capital improvements for our facilities. Request estimates and oversee capital improvement development and construction to meet these needs. Provide staff support to the Board and perform other duties as assigned. Meet regularly with the Board to provide updates and receive guidance as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS



High school Diploma or equivalent Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing to a diverse population. The ability to multi-task and adjust to shifting priorities. The ability to deal courteously with the public and to maintain effective working relationships with the Board, Town officials, other employees, agencies, community groups, and the public. Ability to recognize organization-wide priorities and to work cooperatively to support their accomplishments. Experience with task-oriented projects. Express ideas effectively both orally and in writing. Establish and maintain working relationships with officials, associates, and the public. Must be proficient with regular computer use including Google G Suite (Email, Docs, Sheets, Slides). Experience with Meta Business Suite, Canva, Constant Contact, and Asana is highly desired.
This role is primarily on-site in Pepperell, MA with occasional work outside of regular business hours (may include evening or weekend work).
