Duties



Act as the primary point of contact for patients needing assistance with appointments, follow-ups, and community resources Coordinate with healthcare providers to schedule and confirm patient appointments efficiently Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, referrals, and follow-up actions using medical administrative support tools Provide clear explanations of medical procedures and terminology to patients to enhance understanding and comfort Assist with managing medical office workflows, including appointment scheduling, documentation, and correspondence Support patients in navigating insurance processes and accessing community health programs Collaborate with dental or other specialty offices when applicable to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications



Previous experience working in a medical office environment or healthcare setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and administrative procedures within healthcare settings Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in an office environment Experience supporting dental offices or similar healthcare practices is a plus Proficiency in medical administrative support software and office technology tools Exceptional communication skills to clearly convey information and foster positive relationships with patients and team members Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
