About Rebellion Group

We're a bold, insight-driven agency that fuses strategy, creativity, and technology to fuel explosive brand growth. We defy convention to make brands unforgettable, balancing data with daring, delivering everything from go-to-market strategies to UX design, web development, creativity, and advanced SEO.

Job Summary

As a Communications Strategist at Rebellion Group, you're the connector, the one who makes sure big brand thinking translates into the right message, in the right place, at the right time. You live in the intersection of brand, audience, and culture, and you bring order (and magic) to how ideas move through the world.

You're a translator of strategy into systems, taking big, abstract ideas and turning them into tangible communications architectures that creatives and clients can rally behind. You're curious about how people actually behave, what they watch, share, skip, or obsess over and you design strategies that meet them there. You're equal parts rigorous and inventive: a thinker who can make complexity feel simple, and a partner who helps the work land in the most powerful way possible.

Job Responsibilities

Lead the development of communications strategies that define how a brand shows up across channels and contexts Frame the role of communications in solving business problems and driving cultural relevance Design channel strategies, ecosystems, and connections plans that balance reach, resonance, and relevance Collaborate with Brand Strategy, Creative, Media, and Data to ensure communications thinking fuels both the idea and its execution Identify the moments and platforms where ideas can have a disproportionate impact Bring audience insights and cultural context into the process, making work that earns attention, not just buys it Serve as the strategic voice in creative development, ensuring ideas are not just great, but also land powerfully in the world Present with clarity and conviction, inspiring both clients and teams to believe in the work Track and assess the impact of communications strategies, creating feedback loops that sharpen the work over time conversations in our industry. Develop a content strategy rooted in search data to capture audience intent and own key conversations in our industry. Integrate SEO as a core component of the entire content lifecycle--from ideation to publication and promotion--to ensure all content is built for maximum organic impact. Establish a data-driven framework to measure content performance, driving a continuous cycle of strategic refinement and optimization. Mentor junior strategists, sharing tools, frameworks, and ways of thinking that elevate the discipline

Before You Apply: Let's Get Real

We know the job hunt can be brutal. Whether you're fresh out of school, feeling stuck in your current role, or navigating unexpected market changes--the pressure to find something often overshadows finding the right thing. We've all been there: copy-pasting the same info into endless forms, hitting "easy apply" just to boost those numbers, and crossing our fingers.

But here's the thing--we want you to actually want this job.

This Role Isn't for Everyone (And That's Okay)

If great creative doesn't make you stop scrolling... if you see a killer brand campaign and don't feel that spark of curiosity about the strategy behind it... if you're not the type to wonder what insight drove that commercial that stuck with you--this probably isn't your spot. No judgment, just honesty.

What we're looking for: Someone who gets genuinely excited about the intersection of brand, creativity, and human behavior. Someone who sees advertising as both art and science, and wants to master both sides of that equation.

Here's What You're Signing Up For

The Environment: This is agency life--fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative. If you're coming from a major holding company, you'll find our pace intense but more sustainable. If you're transitioning from client-side, buckle up--you're about to experience a different gear entirely.

The Workspace: We're in-person because we believe the best ideas happen in those spontaneous hallway conversations, the quick whiteboard sessions, and the energy that only comes from being in the same room. Remote work has its place, but breakthrough thinking happens when minds collide organically.

The Growth Path: Here's something unique about our industry--the higher you climb, the more you need to become a translator between disciplines. Business speak, creative vision, data insights, strategic thinking, tech capabilities--you'll need to become fluent in all of it. It's challenging, but it's also what makes this work endlessly fascinating.

Why This Could Be Your Dream Job

If you're still reading, you might be exactly who we're looking for. You're someone who thrives on variety, who gets energized by solving complex problems with creative solutions, and who wants to work alongside people who care as much about the craft as you do.

Ready to dive deeper? We're excited to meet candidates who see this not just as their next job, but as their next adventure in building something meaningful.
