Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Communications and Marketing Consultant to join our team and serve as the expert in communications and marketing strategies. The consultant will provide consultative services to the state to assist with developing beneficiary and provider education documents, materials, and training to raise awareness and provide education.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the key expert in communications and marketing. Support the development of provider, beneficiary, and community organization documents, materials, and training. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support aligned goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing or a related field Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working with patients with sickle cell disease. Strong foundation in public health principles. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage with non-clinical and clinical audiences in a respectful, educational, and non-promotional manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

o Prior experience with Medicaid or public health programs.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.0 per week
