Where You Will Work



Our global headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona. Several hundred employees support global operations in finance, human resources, information technology, planning and more from the main office, satellite offices or online. As a Hybrid employee, you'll engage in virtual collaboration as well as attend in-person meetings at our Collaboration Hub in Phoenix or at one of our site locations. The Collaboration Hub provides an open, flexible workspace for individuals and teams to come together for various business needs. Amenities at the Hub include a working cafe, phone booths and meeting rooms with technology tools for virtual and in-person collaboration. In-person attendance may vary based on the position and department requirements.

What You Will Do

Under general supervision, you will manage commodity price risk and oversee daily Trade Desk functions, including executing authorized copper strategic price risk management programs and maintaining derivative positions. The position will not engage in speculative trading. Execute customer-directed price hedges through broker counterparts, confirm transaction details, and monitor counterparty limits to ensure compliance. Maintain accurate data entry in derivatives databases, coordinate monthly position closeouts, and partner with Compliance for trade accuracy. Prepare and distribute daily market reports, interact with Sales to achieve hedge objectives, and assemble metals price data for invoicing accuracy. Perform other duties as requested.


What You Bring To Freeport

Bachelor's degree

and

3 years of experience in finance, accounting, commodity trading, hedging, or related fields

OR



High School Diploma/GED

and

7 years of experience in finance, accounting, commodity trading, hedging, or related fields Present a positive, professional image Strong problem-solving, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) and database programs Self-motivated and client service oriented Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Awareness of occupational hazards and adherence to safety practices Position is remote but candidate must be located in the Phoenix metropolitan area with access to Corporate offices. Must be available to begin work by 8:00 a.m. EST to align with the opening of the Commodities Exchange (COMEX).

What We Offer You



The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently

$73,500-$101,000.

This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process. .
