Job Description

We are a growing commercial door installation company specializing in hollow metal frames, steel and wood doors, and commercial hardware installation. We focus on installation services for commercial, multi-family, and light industrial projects.

We are seeking an experienced

Commercial Door & Hardware Estimator

to help us grow by preparing accurate takeoffs and pricing for door, frame, and hardware scopes.

Responsibilities:

Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural and door/hardware schedules Review plans and specifications (A-series, door schedules, hardware sets) Prepare detailed estimates for: Hollow metal frames Steel and wood doors Commercial door hardware (locks, closers, panic devices, hinges, etc.) Identify scope gaps and RFIs as needed Communicate with suppliers for material pricing when required
Requirements:

Experience estimating commercial doors and hardware Ability to read commercial construction drawings and schedules Familiarity with industry products (Assa Abloy, Allegion, Schlage, etc.) Proficiency with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar takeoff software Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Compensation:

Commission-based pay only

Paid per project awarded:

Options (example - choose one):

5%-10% of gross profit on awarded jobs

Flat fee per awarded project
No salary or hourly pay.
