The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a full-time Commissary Supervisor to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Commissary Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

  • Supervise commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling.
  • Ensure proper stock of beer, soda, food, and other products are in their appropriate locations.
  • Maintain daily awareness of product needs; determine quantities required to adequately stock commissary.
  • Oversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, cycle counting.
  • Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas.
  • Oversee and set up machines and equipment for the commissary.
  • Oversee the proper closing of assigned area.
  • Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
  • Initiate and organize procedures to set standards for the warehouse.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2yearss food and beverage commissary or related experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year of Commissary/Warehouse Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer systems required.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Strong leadership skills; ability to delegate and coach others.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret deliveries and purchases.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow job procedures and manager instructions.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 165 pounds.
  • Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shift.
  • Ability to work in a Warehouse environment where temperatures may range from cold to hot depending on the season.
