Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Commercial Roofing Technicians to work on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial roofing installation, repair, and maintenance. As a Commercial Roofing Technician, you will be responsible for executing various roofing projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems, including but not limited to: + Single-ply membranes (TPO, EPDM, PVC)
+ Built-up roofing (BUR)
+ Modified bitumen
+ Metal roofing
+ Green roofing systems
Conduct thorough roof inspections to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions Perform roof maintenance tasks, including cleaning, patching, and coating applications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications Accurately measure and cut roofing materials to ensure proper fit and installation Operate and maintain various roofing tools and equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and safety gear Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while working at heights and in various weather conditions Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure timely project completion Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining roofing processes Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and best practices Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians and apprentices Respond to emergency repair calls as needed, including after-hours and weekend work

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial roofing installation and repair Proficiency in various commercial roofing systems and techniques Strong knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and equipment Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions Valid driver's license and clean driving record * OSHA 10-hour certification (OSHA 30-hour preferred)
