Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in commercial refrigeration preventative maintenance and repair, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service. As an Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial kitchen equipment such as ice machines, walk-in coolers & freezers, reach-in coolers and freezers, and serving lines, utilizing your expertise in electrical systems and schematics. Opportunities also exist for upskilling should the candidate be interested as the company also does residential refrigeration as well as other trades such as appliance repair.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues to determine necessary repairs. Perform repairs on various appliances including walk-ins and ice machines. Conduct preventative maintenance Assemble and install new appliances as required. Utilize schematics to understand electrical systems and ensure proper functionality. Conduct routine maintenance on appliances to prevent future issues. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Refrigeration Technician or similar role in refrigeration repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot refrigeration systems. Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and refrigeration systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for delivery driving responsibilities. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to appliance functions and the refrigeration cycle. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $45.00 per hour
