Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in project management within the construction industry, demonstrating proficiency in utilizing various construction management software and tools. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met. Utilize ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other construction management software for project scheduling and documentation. Conduct construction estimating and prepare detailed budgets for projects. Oversee project coordination activities including blueprint reading, contracts management, and schematics interpretation. Monitor job site progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Manage project schedules effectively while utilizing time management skills to prioritize tasks. Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to communicate project status updates and address any issues that arise. Provide leadership to team members while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial project management within the construction industry is essential. Familiarity with construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid is preferred. Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques using Primavera or similar software. Experience with Civil 3D is a plus for site development projects. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Previous experience on construction sites is highly desirable to understand the practical aspects of project execution. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and multitasking capabilities.
