Job Description

Southwest National Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager primarily responsible for Commercial loan, servicing, collection, profitability and oversight of commercial loans through existing loans and with growth potential with existing customers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferably in a business related field, or equivalent experience


Min 2 years of prior applicable experience in Commercial Credit Analysis

Responsibilities

Review and manage existing loan portfolio for proper risk management and maximization of profitability within established bank policies and guidelines.


Identify and develop new commercial banking opportunities and relationships through active networking and providing superior customer service to both new and existing customer.


Maintain a working knowledge of all current lending regulations, policies and requirements. Continued learning and application of these regulations and practices.


Assist customers with inquiries and information requests and resolve complaints relating to commercial loan products and services offered.


Strive to maintain a quality portfolio with minimal delinquency. Participate in the collection procedures of commercial loans to assure the timely collection of delinquent accounts.


Will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

This individual must be able to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality, work independently or within a team environment and possess advanced communication and interpersonal skills.


Must have strong leadership skills including listening, problem solving, reliability, creativity, positivity, and adaptability while living and promoting the core values and objectives of Southwest National Bank. Prefer a strong working knowledge of commercial lending as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
