Job Description

:
Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding loan transactions, technical exceptions, loan documentation, and other related processes and procedures.
Submit loan system updates to Consolidated Loan Operations and other relevant departments, working cooperatively with them to ensure that loans are set up accurately and issues are corrected.
Analyze, generate, update, and distribute reports regularly in order to track exceptions, identify and correct inconsistencies, and provide others with necessary loan system information.
Develop an understanding of commercial loan documentation, loan system functionality, lending policies, and compliance regulations.
Process monetary loan transactions for the department through the Encore platform.
Review loan files/documentation and loan system activity to ensure accuracy and consistency, helping to resolve discrepancies when errors or exceptions are identified.
Assist with escrow processes on the commercial loan system, including processing escrow disbursements and helping with escrow analysis.
Participate in special projects, system scrubs/cleanup, coordination of loan participation setup and ongoing maintenance, and other atypical loan functions as needed.
Contribute to improving and implementing loan operations processes in response to changing regulations, policies or initiatives.
Perform general office functions and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent (some college helpful)
Working knowledge of banking/loan systems is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical thinking Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish goals
Strong customer service skills (telephone, e-mail, and direct contact)
Willingness to assume additional responsibilities/projects as needed
