***This is a fully REMOTE opportunity for those that reside in and can accommodate Eastern Working Hours. Risk Management and Loss Control experience preferred.***

JOB SUMMARY: The IOA Risk Advocate is responsible for the successful onboarding, implementation, and ongoing oversight of our clients risk management programs. This includes working with IOA producers to understand client demographics and their risk management needs, presenting to and training clients on various risk management services and technology platforms, ensuring successful client onboarding for all requested services, and monitoring client utilization and satisfaction across all services on an ongoing basis. Additionally, the Risk Advocate works closely with the IOA Claims Advocate and other team members to understand our clients\xe2\x80\x99 claims trends and uses this information along with other key data points to determine additional risk management strategies that will aid in further reducing or mitigating risk within their organizations. The Risk Advocate is excellent at customer service, relationship management, communication, and analytical thinking and thrives in problem-solving situations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serves as subject matter expert for all Risk Services products and services including third party vendor solutions
  • Develops an understanding of each client including their business structure, insurance programs, pain points, key points of contact and their roles/responsibilities, and uses this information to serve the account and nurture meaningful relationships with them
  • Works with IOA producers and clients to coordinate and execute the successful onboarding and training of our risk management products and services
  • Coordinates referrals for service to third party vendors ensuring services are setup timely and successfully
  • Oversees client utilization of enrolled products/services and proactively communicates with producers and clients to help optimize use where possible
  • Routinely uses client data and interactions to identify additional training needs and conducts trainings accordingly
  • Serves as technical support person for clients and ensures timely and successful issue resolution
  • Responsible for participating in the development and review of client reports. Provides feedback and suggestions in areas of expertise and ensures accuracy of the data presented. This includes client stewardship reports as well as other reports as needed
  • Participates in offsite or virtual client meetings as needed
  • Delivers outstanding service at all times, including proactively anticipating client needs, maintaining frequent and professional producer and client communication, and responding quickly to all service requests / inquiries
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with producers, clients, leadership, co-workers and teammates. Collaborates successfully with all internal stakeholders and consistently demonstrates a willingness to work as part of a team practicing strong work ethic, accountability, and a positive attitude
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills both internally and externally
  • Serves as a back-up to other Risk Advocates as needed
  • Any other duties as assigned

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lifting and carrying large equipment/boxes over 5lbs
  • Bending and stooping to utilize necessary office equipment
  • Participation in team building and other activities
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Loss Control and Risk Management experience preferred
  • New Employees will be required to complete \xe2\x80\x9cThe Institutes Introduction to Risk Management and Insurance\xe2\x80\x9d online training and RiskScore\xc2\xa9 training within the first 3 months of their employment
  • OSHA 10 General Industry and/or Construction outreach training certificate within 1 year
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative cross-functional team environment
  • Applied EPIC experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills and abilities
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy
  • Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
  • PC & Microsoft Office proficient
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) / Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree Preferred
