Gensco currently has an amazing opportunity available to join our Commercial Sales Team at our Corporate Offices in Tacoma, WA as a Commercial Inside Sales Support Specialist!

This job is Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

The pay range for this position is $20 - $25/hour dependent upon experience.

Summary

• Perform a broad range of administrative responsibilities in support of the Commercial inside Sales Team
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism
• Perform administration responsibilities as assigned by Logistics specialist

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service by treating all customers fairly and honestly
• Promptly answer phone calls directed to the Commercial Inside Sales Team and route them to the appropriate party
• Ensure customers are \xe2\x80\x9con hold\xe2\x80\x9d no more than 45 seconds
• Accurately record and direct messages to appropriate individuals
• Always present a professional appearance and image

2. Basic Functions:

• Complete quality, error free work
• Track all inbound freight (direct or special orders)
• Promptly notify Customers and Sales Reps of shipping changes
• Process RMA\xe2\x80\x99s and assist with Vendor returns
• Investigate and respond to customer product or delivery issues
• Work with the Tacoma Distribution Center and/or Gensco\xe2\x80\x99s suppliers to promptly respond to all Customer Order - tracking Inquiries within 1 hour of request
• Provide submittals to customers as required
• Provide operation manuals (O&M\xe2\x80\x99s) to customer as required
• Provide lead times for quoters proposals as requested
• Work with and resolve customers freight claim issues
• Input Data into Salesforce as directed

3. Advanced Functions:

• Assist the Logistics Specialist by:
• Converting quotes to orders for non-direct/nonspecial orders
• Creating branch transfers
• Forwarding Boom Truck and Flat Bed deliveries to TDC Dispatcher
• Assisting with special projects as assigned

Education/Experience/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage details and meet deadlines with 100% accuracy in a multi-task environment
• Customer service-oriented approach; respond to requests with a sense of urgency
• Proactive, self-motivated, able to recognize issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone
• Able to use personal computer, Microsoft Office software Applications, and P21
• Comfortable working in a team oriented, fast paced, and customer focused environment
• Willing to \xe2\x80\x9cthink outside of the box\xe2\x80\x9d and identify process improvement opportunities
• Ability to move freely about the facility, work sitting or standing, operate basic business machines, and lift and carry office supplies
