Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in various environments, ensuring optimal performance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Perform equipment repairs using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and recommendations. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. Adhere to safety protocols while working with refrigerants and other hazardous materials.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction or property maintenance. Familiarity with HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration cycles, and boiler operations. Ability to perform appliance repair tasks as needed. Proficient in welding techniques for equipment repair when necessary. Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
