Performance Glass is a growing commercial glazing contractor based in Salt Lake City, specializing in

storefront systems and interior office partitions

We're known for our craftsmanship, reliability, and professionalism on commercial TI and new-construction projects across Utah.

We're seeking a

full-time Commercial Glass Estimator

to join our team as we continue to expand. If you're detail-oriented, confident in your takeoffs, and enjoy seeing your bids turn into well-run projects, we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities

Perform

accurate takeoffs and material/labor estimates

for aluminum storefronts, doors, curtainwall, and interior glazing systems. Read and interpret

architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda

. Request and analyze vendor quotes (glass, aluminum, hardware, etc.). Prepare detailed

bid proposals and scope letters

. Maintain

bid tracking logs

, organize deadlines, and follow up with GCs. Coordinate with Project Management for smooth

project handoff

after award. Participate in

value engineering

and design-assist opportunities when needed.

Qualifications

2+ years of

commercial glazing estimating

experience (storefront, glass, or curtainwall). Strong understanding of

CRL, Oldcastle, Tubelite, Kawneer, or similar systems

. Proficient with

Bluebeam

,

Excel

, and/or takeoff software (On-Screen Takeoff, STACK, or similar). Ability to read blueprints and architectural specs. Detail-oriented with strong time management and communication skills.

Preferred but Not Required

Experience with project management or field installation background. Familiarity with bid management software or construction CRM tools. Local experience and GC relationships within Utah.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary:

$70,000 - $90,000 (DOE)
