Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drone Pilot to join our team. In this role, you will operate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for various applications, including surveying, filming, and data collection. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of aviation principles and regulations, along with mechanical knowledge to ensure the safe and effective operation of drones. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality aerial solutions.

Responsibilities

Operate drones for various projects, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and safety protocols. Conduct pre-flight checks and maintenance on UAVs to ensure optimal performance. Capture high-resolution imagery and video for filming and photography projects. Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping and data analysis purposes. Collaborate with team members to plan flight paths and ensure project objectives are met. Maintain accurate records of flight operations, including logs of hours flown and equipment used. Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes affecting drone operations.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to drone operation and maintenance. Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data mapping and analysis. Experience in filming and photography using UAVs to capture high-quality visuals. Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) operations is a plus. Excellent command of the English language for effective communication. Comprehensive understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations governing drone usage. Background in aviation or military experience preferred, enhancing operational effectiveness in various environments. Pay: $49,926.27 - $60,126.26 per year
