Job Overview:



We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Commercial Control Panel Builder, Pipe Fitter, and Gas Train Builder

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in

electrical control panel assembly, wiring, pipe fitting, and gas train construction

, with an understanding of

electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings

. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment,

building high-quality control panels, gas trains, and mechanical assemblies

for a variety of commercial and industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:



Assemble, wire, and troubleshoot commercial control panels based on electrical schematics and drawings.
Layout and mount components such as relays, circuit breakers, switches, BAS controllers, and PLCs on control panels.

Perform pipe fitting and mechanical assembly work related to gas trains and combustion control systems.


Build and test gas train assemblies, ensuring proper alignment, leak testing, and compliance with safety and performance standards.


Ensure all panels and assemblies meet quality standards and industry regulations.
Perform point-to-point wiring, including proper crimping, routing, and labeling.
Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to improve designs, optimize layouts, and resolve issues.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications



High school diploma or GED required; Technical certification in electrical, mechanical, or electronics is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in

control panel building, pipe fitting, gas train assembly, or related field.


Ability to read and interpret

electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.


Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as multimeters and testing equipment.
Strong understanding of

electrical and mechanical components, wiring techniques, and pressure systems.


Familiarity with

NEC standards, NFPA 86, and other applicable safety codes

is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience with BAS and PLC wiring and programming.

Knowledge of UL 508A standards for control panels.

Familiarity with automation systems and industrial controls.

Preferred Qualifications

Physical Requirements:



Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
