Job Description
We are looking for a full-time commercial construction Project Manager. Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management preferred, or related experience. Candidate must have at least 5 years of Construction Management experience. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred or related experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Experience: 5+ years as a Construction Project Manager and/or Estimator. Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering is preferred but not
required.
Knowledge of construction budgeting, materials and methods, and industry design standards. History of safe, successful, and timely project completion. Effective oral, written, and electronic communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Estimating and scheduling software Provide professional references to applicable work upon request.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Comprehensive knowledge with project details such as review of drawings, specifications, and other pertinent project documents. Project scheduling and timely execution of design/build schedules, including management of schedule adjustments and delays as necessary. Accurate calculation of construction costs including material, "takeoffs", estimated value of
needed work, and negotiation of equitable contract adjustments.
Creation and preparation of written reports and correspondence for internal use and client
interfacing.
Project Estimating / Bidding. Bid day (hard bid) experience. Manage electronic activities such as: + Project Schedule and Delivery.
+ Budget Tracking.
+ Schedule of Values.
+ Requests for Information (RFI).
+ Submittals, Change Orders, and Project Modifications.
+ Use of Viewpoint estimating software
