Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.
What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

• Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
• If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

• Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
• Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Commercial Construction Project Manager

Commercial Construction Project Manager Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 /annually
• Salaried

Oversee the organization, scheduling, and implementation of multiple commercial projects

• Planning, directing, and coordinating the construction project
• Overseeing the entire construction project Sc
• heduling and coordinating all types of design during the construction process
• Selecting, hiring, and overseeing the work done by the contractors
• Upline communication with Superintendent for oversite of subcontractors and General construction labor
• Responsible for scheduling and estimating the time required to complete the project
• Overseeing the selection of trade contractors who are ideal for the completion of a project
• Determining the labor requirements based on project budget
• Troubleshooting labor issues as reported by Superintendent or subcontractor
• Overseeing the performance of contractors
• Ensuring that the construction work is completed on schedule
• Conduct weekly meetings to monitor the progress on the construction site
• Ensuring that the construction resources are used well
• Coordinate the project safety regulations and requirements with Safety Director
• Obtaining the necessary licenses or permits
• Monitoring the compliance with set regulations
• Responsible for approving monthly draws and closeout documents

Commercial Construction Project Manager Qualifications:

• Degree with Construction Management or another related field
• Experience with Commercial project oversight
• Must be attentive to detail
• Possess good communication skills
• Must have good coordination skills
• Ability to schedule and multitask and coordinate many projects
• Knowledgeable in building and construction
• Be a good problem solver
• Be well-versed in Microsoft Office products
