Job Description

As an Estimator with our client, you will play a pivotal role in their preconstruction process, helping to position projects, assess scope, produce cost estimates and support their delivery teams to win and deliver construction engagements. Your work will help set the tone for project execution and ultimately help the firm continue to build strong client-relationships and long-term value.

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine project needs.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Monitor project budgets and update estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present comprehensive cost analysis reports to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and construction techniques.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local building regulations.

A successful Commercial Construction Estimator should have:

• Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
