Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards. Utilize professional cleaning equipment and supplies to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle janitorial duties including trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies. Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning or specialized facility maintenance when needed. Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards observed during cleaning routines. Maintain detailed records of completed cleaning tasks and supply inventory levels. Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications

Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including floor care and buffing procedures. Experience with facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or scrubbers safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
