- Interact with customers and carriers via phone calls, emails, and in-person while establishing long-term relationships.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include inquiries relating to insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and set appointments and/or customer calls to review existing policies, revise liability limits, explore other coverage needs, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong math and reading skills.
- Computer proficiency with the ability to learn/operate agency management systems.
- Bookkeeping skills but not required
Our agency has been in the Wausa and Northeast Nebraska communities for over 75 years. We are looking for a team member with office experience and good people skills.
