Comfort Systems of Montana is growing and we need a closer who can sit at a kitchen table, listen, diagnose comfort problems, and turn warm inbound leads into profitable, well-scoped installs. This is not a call center role. This is an in-home, consultative sales position for someone who likes helping people and also likes getting paid.
You will run company-provided leads, go to the customer's home, identify their heating and cooling pain points, design the right solution, present good/better/best options, offer financing, and close the deal. You will represent CSMT in front of homeowners, so how you show up matters.
What you'll do
Respond to warm inbound leads and run in-home sales appointments on time.
Build trust quickly with homeowners through discovery, education and transparency.
Perform basic in-home assessment of existing HVAC equipment, ductwork and site conditions.
Identify comfort issues such as hot and cold rooms, high utility bills, noisy equipment, poor Indoor Air Quality and age of equipment.
Present CSMT solutions using good/better/best packages that fit the home and the customer's budget.
Confidently present financing and payment options.
Ask for the sale today and secure the installation date.
Document job details clearly for the install team including photos, measurements, electrical requirements, attic/basement access and any special equipment.
Follow up with open proposals and work with the office to close outstanding opportunities.
Maintain CRM/ServiceTitan notes so the rest of the team knows what was promised.
Represent CSMT at a high professional standard in the field and in the community.

35% to 50% close rate on company generated leads.
Average ticket meets or beats company targets.
Install department says your jobs are clean, clear and ready to go.
Customers leave 5 star reviews mentioning your name.
You do not discount your way to a sale.
You follow the sales process every time.
What You Bring
2+ years of in-home sales experience preferred. HVAC, windows, plumbing, solar, water treatment or similar.
Working knowledge of residential HVAC or a strong ability to learn it fast.
Comfortable talking about money and asking for the sale.
Strong listening and discovery skills.
Professional appearance, clean driving record.
Tech comfortable. You can take photos, upload notes and work out of a CRM or ServiceTitan style platform.
High integrity. You sell what the home actually needs.
Local/Montana real. Customers trust people who talk straight.
