Collections Account Representative Responsibilities:

Meet collection goals to allow for a performing portfolio & the credit advancement of our customers

Seek long-term resolution with customers, educate & re-educate customers on the importance of establishing or rebuilding their credit

Team with other members of Consumer Finance and Operations to ensure customer satisfaction

Handle loan processing and loan origination for the assigned branch location

Complete documentation and maintain compliance for the assigned branch location

Hours For Collections Account Representative:

5-day work week

No Sundays

OT pay for any hours worked over 40

Work Saturdays with a day off during the week

Location hours: 9-7 M-F, 9-4 SAT

Average 5 hours of overtime each week

Collections Account Representative Requirements:

Industry Experience: Rent-to-own, Cash Advance, Title Loan, Consumer Finance, 1st party Collections, Customer Retention or a related industry

At least 2 years of consumer-related collections or customer retention experience

Ability to work early evenings and Saturdays

Collections Account Representative Skills:

Listen intently to the customer

Prioritize calls & time throughout the day to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

Build rapport with customers and team members

Stay organized & have good follow up

Be task oriented

Be able to identify problems and offer solutions

Be able to negotiate as needed

Have prudent judgment

Exercise good common sense

Be a team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
