Job Description
: Baptist Health is looking for a Collection Specialist to join our Team in Madisonville, KY. Responsibilities include:
- Responding to all patient calls timely
- Assisting patients in understanding healthcare billing
- Updating patient demographics and updating patient insurance information
- Makes billing/coding inquiries to other departments on the behalf of the patient
- Explains self-pay payment guidelines/procedures
- Provide the highest level of customer service in an effort to deliver the greatest level of patient satisfaction, which in turn should create a pleasant patient experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior Customer Service experience necessary.
- Medical office and call center background preferred, but not mandatory.
