Overview:

The newly formed USU Collaboratory for Innovation in Teaching and Leadership is looking to hire a part-time assistant for approximately 20 hours per week. This assistant will work closely with the program director to develop and implement statewide professional learning opportunities for K-12 teachers and leaders. This assistant needs to learn quickly, work well with others, and demonstrate enthusiasm for connecting people in creative ways to help them learn and progress in their career. This position is funded for one year, with two additional years of funding pending successful program outcomes from this first year.
Responsibilities:
Communicate regularly via multiple means (email, phone, text, etc.) with stakeholders and network members Assist in developing and monitoring online community space Assist in event planning (i.e. conferences, school visits, etc.) Manage program website in partnership with USU web team Collaborate with USU public relations and development teams Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Proven communication skills Spreadsheet management skills History of successful contributions to developing and implementing new programs High school diploma Web development skills

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher Program management experience Community development experience Graphic design experience

Advertised Salary: $20 - $24 per hour, depending on experience ADA:

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
