Job Description

Axiom Armored Transport is a full-service armored car company offering professional service to the western United States. Axiom is looking for a qualified individual to join our team in our coin vault operations area of our Anchorage terminal. The person in this position must have a "How can I help you attitude" and be willing to jump in and roll up/his or her sleeves to help when necessary. Applicants must be able to pass background checks, drug screenings and possible DOT physical. A valid driver's license is required.

The qualified individual must possess the following skills and experiences:

Ability to read, count, add, subtract, write and record numbers Ability to perform simple computer data entry Ability to bend, squat, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, sit, push and pull Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack (training can be provided) Possess a positive attitude with strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential job functions:

Frequently walk and stand Regularly required to use hands to handle objects, tools and controls Reach with hands and arms with unrestricted wrist, hand and finger dexterity Occasionally required to sit or kneel Frequently move/lift up to 50 pounds.

This is a warehouse type environment.

The duties of this position are physically intensive. Employees should be prepared for continuous coin handling and movement for up to eight hours daily. The wage offered for this position will depend on your previous experience. This position requires attention to detail and multi-tasking is a must.

Benefits:

Starting wage is $23 per hour. Consideration for previous experience as cash or coin teller. This is a full-time position.
