Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Part-Time Coffee Technician Intern to support our growing service team. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain practical experience in the commercial coffee equipment industry while learning directly from experienced technicians. You will assist with shop tasks, participate in in-field training, and help maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Assist technicians with repairs, maintenance, and testing of commercial cafe equipment, including ovens, espresso machines, brewers, and grinders Participate in in-field training to learn diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Perform shopwork such as part cleaning, machine prep, minor repairs, and equipment staging Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment Receive and organize parts shipments and inventory Support equipment installations as needed Lift and move heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs) safely and with proper technique Follow all safety protocols and company procedures

Qualifications

Strong interest in coffee, equipment, or mechanical/electrical systems Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Ability to work independently and take direction Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable with hands-on work and lifting heavy loads Valid driver's license required Previous mechanical, technical, or barista experience is a plus but not required

Pay: Starting at $20.00 / hour
