SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Coater Operator ensures scheduled orders are completed in accordance with specifications and procedures established by Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Engineering, while keeping safety, quality and production at or above set standards in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize logbooks for issues that occur on shift
Indirectly responsible for the safety of the crewmembers
Perform quality and standard checks
Participate in die changes as scheduled
Complete appropriate data sheets as required
Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Follow "Red Tag" procedures if required
Follow all safety rules when entering the manufacturing facility
Responsible for maintaining clean and organized work areas
Maintain inventories needed for production run
Communicate and share knowledge with operators and coworkers
Make suggestions on reducing costs, improving safety, and/or improving product or process
Participate in S4 continuous improvement team meetings and projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS
High degree of manual dexterity
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to read length measurements, gauges and meters
Knowledge of production schedules
Basic math skills, computer skills, and data entry
Ability to follow work instructions, safety rules, and specifications with great attention to detail
May be required to obtain a tow-motor license
