A leading precision machining and automation company is seeking a skilled and motivated

Shop Supervisor

to lead their team and oversee daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on CNC experience who enjoys both production and team leadership.

Role Overview:

The Shop Supervisor will oversee CNC machinists, manage programming and scheduling, and ensure smooth shop operations. The shop primarily runs Haas VF-2 mills and Doosan lathes. The ideal candidate is comfortable programming, setting up, and producing prototype and short-run production parts while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day shop operations, including workflow, scheduling, and personnel assignments. Supervise CNC machinists and support staff to ensure productivity and quality. Troubleshoot machines, tooling, and processes to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and management to optimize cost-effectiveness. Enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Apply strong knowledge of CNC machine setups, operation, and programming (Fanuc/Haas). Communicate effectively to motivate and guide team members.

Qualifications:

Proven experience with CNC machining and programming (Fanuc/Haas preferred). Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Compensation & Benefits:
