CNC Setup Machinist 1st shift (Vertical Mills)

CNC Setup Machinist Mills Key Responsibilities:

• Setup and Operation of CNC vertical machining centers
• Setup and Operation of horizontal lathes
• MDI (Manual Data Input) programming, using
• Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
• Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
• Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
• Observe all company quality and safety procedures
• Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues

CNC Setup Machinist Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or associate degree
• Experience with Vertical Milling
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to use inspection tools
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
• Flexible, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
• Great communication skills
