What you'll do
Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis turning operations using GibbsCam programming software.
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in machining processes.
Conduct thorough blueprint reading to ensure precision in manufacturing specifications.
Assist in setup of CNC lathes and milling machines while adhering to strict quality standards.
Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
Troubleshoot machining issues and provide solutions to optimize production flow.
Basic qualifications
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in CNC programming.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for effective design interpretation and program creation.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in machining environments with an emphasis on tooling and geometry applications.
