Program multiple Mills, lathes and swiss turn machines in shop. Minimum of three years working experience in an ISO9001 & AS9100 environment. Must be familiar with Master Cam & Solid Works. Supports in-process and/or finished production assemblies and subassemblies for conformation to models and prints. Generates models from blueprints, engineering change notices, or customer's sketches approved by the customer. Prepares and maintains program logs, first piece documentation and supports engineering with operation sheets, tooling sheets and quality records. Must be proficient in programming and operating multiple CNC Lathes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensures the quality of workmanship in the shop are to the highest standards.
Required to provide a safe work environment and ensures strict adherence to the established safety and work policies.
Maintains a high level of good housekeeping practices.
Ensures all work is performed in accordance with established procedures and meets the customer requirements.
Prepares customer milestone schedules as required.
Manage continuous improvement projects.
Coordinate with Engineering/Quality and manage the release of shop orders and materials to the shop.
Work closely with QA to insure sound product and compliance with all QA requirements.
Have a working knowledge of all jobs in manufacturing.
Communicate with customers as required.
Must contribute to a positive work environment.
Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals.
Must be punctual and report to work during the times prescribed by the General Manager.
Performs other related duties as required.
