General Machine Company, established in 1982, is an AS9100D and ISO 9001 certified precision manufacturer, specializing in serving the Aerospace, Defense, and Space industries.

With advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis high-speed CNC machines and cutting-edge assembly capabilities, we manufacture mission-critical components with tight tolerances. Based in Bristol, CT, we offer solutions ranging from low-volume components to complex, high-volume assemblies and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

Independent Programming & Setup: Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling and/or Turning centers with little to no supervision. Precision Machining: Machine close-tolerance components, ensuring exceptional quality on every piece. Blueprint Proficiency: Proficiently read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications.
Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a CNC Machinist or Tool Maker. Expert knowledge of setting up and operating CNC Milling and/or Turning machines. Experience with Mastercam programming is a significant advantage.
