Job Description

CNC Press Brake Operator

Responsibilities:

Set-up and operate CNC press brake to bend steel parts in production setting

Review engineering prints and documents to determine bend requirements

Select required tooling, perform tooling changes and set-up changes

Adjust work and tooling offsets as needed

Use a dial caliper and other measurement tools to perform part inspections

Maintain required paperwork and documentation

Maintain clean and organized work area

Operate overhead hoist

Adhere to all safety procedures and policies

Required skills:

Computer controlled equipment operation

Basic personal computer and windows operating system skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to read and interpret prints, perform basic mathematical calculations

Ability to use measurement devices

Ability to lift 50 + lbs.

Ability to work 10+ hours per day on your feet

Ability to retain training

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

Experience operating CNC equipment beneficial

Experience working in steel fabrication beneficial

Job Type:

Full-time, on-site

Reports to:

the Production Supervisor

Starting wage:

$25.57 per hour, depending on experience and skills

Schedule:

10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, overtime as needed on Fridays (8-hour day), start time is at 5am or 6am
