As a

CNC Operator

at P.G. Adams, you will receive training and be responsible for working collaboratively and individually toward production and overarching business goals.

Qualifications:

? High school diploma or equivalent.

? Strong math skills, including arithmetic, basic algebra, and basic geometry.

? Accurately read tape measure to 1/32", understand instructions, and interpret drawings.

? Prior CNC press brake and CNC plasma cutter experience.

? Working knowledge of steel fabrication machines and tools.

? Proficient overhead crane and forklift operation.

? Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend and stand repeatedly.

? Computer literate including familiarity with Google sheets.

? Consistently achieve a high degree of accuracy while maintaining ambitious production schedule to meet and exceed the needs of both external and internal customers.

? Work cooperatively and collaboratively across operations to meet dynamically changing business needs.

CNC Operator Core Job Duties/Tasks:

Set up, program, and operate CNC press brake and CNC plasma table for consistently safe, accurate and efficient use of machine and materials. Machine assignment may vary depending upon evolving production needs. Rig, load & unload material with overhead cranes & forklift. Quality control of own and others work. Operate a variety of steel fabricating tools including grinders, torch, iron worker. Packaging with pneumatic bander. Troubleshoot and prevent equipment problems. Conduct pre-operation equipment safety checks & perform routine preventive maintenance. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment. Identify opportunities for improving the work and actively participate in implementing solutions. General duties as required to support the needs of the business.
