CNC Operator

Job Overview

Milling machine, Fanuc controls. Vertical and horizontal machines. Experience is necessary, must be knowledgeable with machining principles and technologies. 21-30 hourly wage to start. Health insurance, 401k, PTO, vacation days.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Assemble components as needed using hand tools and tooling. Work with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure compliance with design specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with factory safety standards. Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.

Skills

Proficiency in operating CNC machines, particularly milling machines. Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers. Experience with tooling, hand tools, and press brake machines. Familiarity with GD&T principles is highly desirable. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in a factory or warehouse environment is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
