Established in 1984, Lombard machining Inc. machines a diverse variety of products for original equipment manufacturers. We are a production oriented CNC job shop searching for a full-time CNC mill operator to join our team! There is no better place than a job shop to hone your skillset.

CNC 3 and 4 axis milling operator requires tending to your machine during the day. Loading in raw material or casting, then unloading the finished part when the cycle is complete. You will then be deburring the finished part, removing any sharp edges from machining and performing any in process inspection as necessary. The parts will then be cleaned off and neatly packaged, taking care not to damage them after machining. The operator is responsible for maintaining adequate coolant and way oil levels in their machine on a daily basis. On certain jobs with excessive spare time between cycles you may be asked to tend to a second machine during the day. This is an entry level position in the trade with the potential to progress into a set-up person or programmer.

Job requirements/responsibilities:

Read and write in English Stand on feet for prolonged periods of time Maintain clean and organized workstation Read and interpret blueprints/drawings from the customer Quality conscious/eye for detail Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted (Not frequent. Occasionally moving a CNC vise to a cart or dumping coolant jugs into machine) Use of inspection equipment to verify dimensions such as calipers, micrometers, and height gage. (We will supply training if needed) Ability to follow company safety policies and procedures

Hours:

We offer four ten hour shifts Monday-Thursday from 6:30AM-5:00PM. We offer two paid 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute unpaid lunch. 5 hours of overtime will be offered on Fridays whenever the work is there to support the extra hours.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per year
