Previous experience as CNC operator (

Okuma Genos M560V preferable

) Mechanical aptitude and Basic Math Skills Working knowledge of precision measurement tools Working knowledge of computer software with understanding of G & M codes Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings. High school diploma or equivalent Appropriate courses and qualifications in the field to perform the job.

CNC operations / maintenance and probe equipment (calipers, dial indicator, cnc probe systems)

General knowledge in: + Working knowledge of lot control and traceability

Specifications of responsibilities

Set up tooling, set all offsets and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, etc.. Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading the programmer instructions, mechanical drawings, etc. Prepare and load raw materials onto CNC machines Prepare all tooling according to set up sheet dimensions. Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has completed properly. Supervise the proper storage of work in process Maintain and organize product flow in department and staging Control the workload and see that all work is completed correctly Maintain the quality and the quantity of work. Maintain all records and procedures for the CNC Department Maintain a clean department-good housekeeping, to prevent accidents and controlling hazards and hazardous material. Perform daily inspections of machines Train employees when needed Maintain discipline, high morale, and promote teamwork.



Specifications of Authority -


Maintaining liaison with other departments and divisions. Order all supplies for department Hire and terminate employees for department

Monday - Friday - For the first month of training the shift will be from 7:00am until 3:30PM.

Upon completion of training, the shift will be 3:00PM-11:30PM

Pay rate $25.00 per hour
